|   STRATEGY AND CONSULTATION

We are committed to making every series a success. In your inaugural year, you'll be scheduled for a marketing kick-off call to discuss how best to promote your series. Thereafter, feel free to reach out for additional consultation.

|   NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC MEDIA OUTLETS

While we make every attempt to secure promotional placements in National Geographic's media outlets to support the Nat Geo Live series throughout North America, we are unable to guarantee any placements. See how we are supporting your local marketing efforts through our media outlets.

|   MATERIAL REVIEW

All marketing materials—print, online, radio, video, and anything else you may develop—must be reviewed and approved by the Nat Geo Live marketing team before releasing to the general public. Take some time to familiarize yourself with the Quick Start Style Guide to minimize the number of edits required and send all materials to NGP.natgeolivemarketing@natgeo.com.

Please allow the following timelines for materials to go through the approval process:

  • Press releases: 5 business days

  • All other materials: 5 business days

|   WEBSITE

We promote your events in the event listings on our website, natgeolive.com (nationalgeographic.com/events). Each listing will link directly to your event page, offering a streamlined way for National Geographic fans to get to your site and buy tickets.

In order to ensure timely listing of your events, complete the season questionnaire as soon as you know when you'll be going on sale.

|   PRESS INTERVIEWS

With advance notice, you may request press interviews for the speakers in your series. (Note that this applies to Nat Geo Live in-person Speaker Series. Talent is not available for interviews for the Nat Geo Live Virtual Speaker Series.)

A production or operations manager will work with you to coordinate speaker schedules for press interviews while the speaker is in town for your event.

|   SEARCH ENGINE MARKETING

In adherence with our contracts, clients agree to not purchase, bid on, or create landing pages for keywords that contain the word "National Geographic" (including abbreviates, variations, misspellings, or other derivations). Clients are permitted to use the phrase "National Geographic Live" or "Nat Geo Live" in SEO and SEM activities.
