  NAT GEO LIVE ACCOUNTS

  • Facebook Social Icon
  • Twitter Social Icon
  • Instagram Social Icon

Nat Geo Live does not have a dedicated Instagram account.

When posting about Nat Geo Live from your venue's social media accounts:

  • Tag our account so that we can engage with the post

  • Include the hashtag  #NatGeoLive

  FACEBOOK EVENTS

Many of our partner venues create Facebook Events for each of their Nat Geo Live events, and this can be an effective way to get the word out. A few tips:
  • As space permits, we suggest using title format Nat Geo Live: [Event Title] with [Speaker Name] (for example, Nat Geo Live: Invisible Wonders with Anand Varma)
  • Add the Nat Geo Live Facebook account as a co-host
  • Please keep in mind that the brand guidelines from the Quick Start Style Guide apply
For the 2022-23 season, we will be creating an image for each speaker specifically sized and designed for Facebook events. We encourage you to use these images for any Nat Geo Live Facebook events you create.

  SHARING ON INSTAGRAM

Although Nat Geo Live does not have its own dedicated Instagram account, the general National Geographic Instagram account, @NatGeo, often posts content from the same photographers, adventurers, and Explorers who speak at Nat Geo Live events.

If you see content on that account from one of your upcoming speakers and want to share it from your venue's account, we encourage you to use the share functionality directly built into the app.

On Instagram, that includes sharing other’s posts to Instagram Stories. See here or below for detailed guidelines on how to do this. We discourage the use of third party sharing apps such as “Repost.”
