Securing Local Sponsors

Licensees are welcome to secure local sponsors for their National Geographic Live series, including series sponsors, media sponsors, and others.

 

As a safeguard for the equity and positioning of the National Geographic brand, our Brand Governance team has developed several checkpoints to guide the decision on whether a partner is right for National Geographic. 

If you are pursuing a sponsor and/or promotional partner for Nat Geo Live, please reach out to Krista.V.Rogers@disney.com or NGP.natgeolivemarketing@natgeo.com as early as possible so that we can seek guidance from National Geographic Brand Governance.

 

Recognizing Local Sponsors

When recognizing local sponsors, the language and logo placement must clearly indicate that the sponsorship is local and secured by the licensee (for example, "Local Presenting Sponsor" or "Sponsored in [CITY] by"). Sponsor names or logos may not be used in any way that suggests that National Geographic or Nat Geo Live is endorsing or affiliated with the sponsor.
